Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Southern Oregon is a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC). As a United Way agency, CCCS offers financial education and counseling to help people improve their
lives and choose the options that are right for them.
Since 1971, CCCS of Southern Oregon has:

- Counseled more than 30,000 families in Southern Oregon and Northern California
- Returned more than $35 million dollars to local and national creditors through debt management programs
- Presented thousands of educational classes to help people learn more about managing their money
- Helped hundreds of local families purchase their first home through home-buying seminars
- Created and presented money management classes to high school students, helping them to avoid the financial pitfalls that trap young adults
